The PMAY Artists' Initiative is proud to celebrate its 5th year anniversary on Friday, June 10, 2022 at the Temple Performing Arts Center. This event will feature our first ever PMAY Artists' Initiative orchestra consisting of current and former PMAY Artists, conducted by our very own alumnus Na'Zir McFadden (Clarinet 2018).
We invite you to join us for this very special occasion. This event is open to everyone. No tickets will be issued, but we kindly ask you to let us know if you will be attending.

Conductor
The Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO) recently announced the appointment of Na’Zir McFadden as its new Assistant Conductor and Phillip and Lauren Fisher Community Ambassador, to commence with the 2022-2023 season. McFadden will also serve as Music Director of the Detroit Symphony Youth Orchestra.
Na'Zir participated in the Philadelphia Sinfonia, Philadelphia Youth Orchestra, Primavera Fund, School District of Philadelphia All-City Orchestra, Settlement Music School and Temple Music Prep.
Graduating Seniors (Soloists)
Congratulations to Yohanna Heyer (Cello) who will be attending Temple University on a full scholarship. She will be performing Dvořák's Silent Woods.
Congratulations to Dillon Scott (Viola) who will be attending the Curtis Institute of Music on a full scholarship. He will be performing Bruch's Romanze.
Alumni (Soloists)
Blue Shelton (Flute 2021) will be performing CPE Bach's Flute Concerto in D Minor. Blue is attending the Manhattan School of Music.
Marquise Bradley (Clarinet 2019) will be performing Weber's Concertino in E-flat. Marquise is attending the Cleveland Institute of Music.
